Ad Memoriam Obsidionis Kőszegiensis
Ferenc Miszlivetz, Director-General of iASK received the Ad Memoriam Obsidionis Kőszegiensis. The Prize was awarded by László Huber, mayor of Kőszeg in the Knights’ Hall of the Jurisics Castle.
iASK at the 25th Anniversary of UNITWIN
On behalf of the UNESCO Chair of Kőszeg, Péter Balogh (scientific secretary of iASK) participated in the 25th Anniversary Conference of UNITWIN held in Paris 31st October 2017. Launched in 1992, the UNITWIN/UNESCO Chairs Programme, which involves over 700 institutions in 116 countries

XXII. International Summer University – Surviving Crises
The Institute of Advanced Studies held its 22nd Summer University between 21 August and 1 September 2017 in Kőszeg. In accordance with tradition, it did not address a specific segment of professional knowledge, it rather served as a venue for lectures and roundtable discussions on the state of the world with special regard to Central Europe.
