The XXV. International Summer University will focus on to review the last three decades and the present, and answers to the question: where are we heading? Trials and Transformations in Central and Eastern Europe, 1989 to COVID-19

The XXIV. International Summer University will focus on the creation, accumulation and dissemination of new knowledge in discussions and lectures of the main topic of: "1989-2019: 30 Years After” – Central Europe in a Global Context.

The Institute of Advanced Studies held its 22nd Summer University between 21 August and 1 September 2017 in Kőszeg. In accordance with tradition, it did not address a specific segment of professional knowledge, it rather served as a venue for lectures and roundtable discussions on the state of the world with special regard to Central Europe.
