A new album of the Binder Trio has been released. Its basic theme was inspired by Béla Bartók’s collection of Hungarian folk songs for piano. In this new selection of folk songs, composer Károly Binder adds improvisational elements to Bartók’s music. It depicts moods and characters with compositional techniques, editing and directing principles that appeared essentially in the short pieces.
