Vision for a Circular Economy in Kőszeg – Workshop by iASK-CUNY

Date: 2018. október 29 October 2018 Monday 1.00-5.00 p.m.

Venue: Zwinger-Oldtower – Kőszeg H-9730 Chernel st. 16.

Please join us for an afternoon workshop that will help develop concepts for a more resilient and sustainable Kőszeg.

The goal of the workshop will be to promote a long-term vision for a circular economy in the Kőszeg/Szombathely bioregion. A circular economy is restorative and regenerative by design, an alternative to the traditional linear economy (make, use, dispose). Based upon ideas recently developed by graduate students undertaking local research on this topic, this workshop will open a dialogue with local government, civic organizations and associations, commercial enterprises, educators, and interested citizens.

Together we will discuss some of the potential opportunities and challenges of undertaking innovative sustainability practices to support a Kőszeg region circular economy.

Deadline: 20th of October 2018
