Opening ceremony and fieldwork as the next stage of the Bakony Jewels project

The research and development program “Jewels of the Bakony”, led by the Institute of Advanced Studies, will continue with two weeks of fieldwork from 17 July. In four research teams with sixteen research fellows, including sociologists, historians, biologists, graphic designers, tour guides, geologists, cultural anthropologists and communication specialists, will work with the participating municipalities (Bakonynána, Borzavár, Jásd and Nagyesztergár) and their local communities to strengthen the settlements and the region’s tourism through co-creation. The theoretical basis for the program is the Kraft-concept (Creative City, Sustainable Region), which is being adapted to this region in the context of this research. The details of the project are available at the following link (in Hungarian): https://www.veol.hu/helyi-kultura/2022/06/bakonyi-telepulesek-kulturalis-ekkoveit-tarjak-fel

The research is implemented in the Bakony Social Innovation Project of the Veszprém-Balaton 2023 European Capital of Culture Program, the opening ceremony will take place on 17 July (Sunday) at 4.00 p.m. in Jásd (Kossuth utca 67.).
