Yilong Xie (China 2017, 2018) is a PhD student at the Department of Physics and Technology at the University of Bergen. He majored in Particle Physics. He completed his MA in Physics at China University of Geosciences. He works on rotation and polarization in relativistic heavy ion collisions, calculating the polarization in high energy collisions with Professor Laszlo Csernai. This group recently addresses the simultaneous volume ignition of the nuclear D-T fuel, which raised large interest among nuclear physicists.
