Sara Swerdlyk (Canada 2016) a doctoral candidate in the Department of Sociology and Social Anthropology at CEU. She was visiting scholar, at the University of Toronto and holds MA in Economy, State, and Society, with concentration in Central and Eastern Europe from University College London, and MA in International Relations, from Corvinus University of Budapest. Her research interests are political economy, critical border and migration studies, global ethnography, Gramsci, postsocialism in Hungary, and Hungarian Roma and Romani mobility
