Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to Hungary
Ms. Ksenija Škrilec presented the Letter of Credence to President of the Republic of Hungary János Áder on 4 September 2013. She functioned as the Minister Plenipotentiary and Head of Global Challenges Department at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia (2011-2013) and as the Team Leader for Business Delegations at the Department for Economic Promotion of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia (2010-2011). She held the positions of Economic Counsellor and that of Chargé d´Affaires at the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia, Budapest, also accredited to Moldova and Bulgaria (2004-2010). Between 2002 and 2004 she was Counsellor at the Department for Neighbouring Countries of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia. Moreover, she functioned as the Coordinator for Slovenian-Austrian Historians and Lawyers Expert Group in the latter period. Between 1998 and 2002 she was First/Second Secretary (Press, Culture, Minorities, Education, Protocol) at the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia, Budapest, also accredited to Ukraine, Moldova and Bulgaria. Between 1992 and 1998 she was an attaché for the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia, Budapest. Furthermore, she was Assistant to the Representative in Hungary at the Representative Office Budapest of the Eurocom Corporate PR (Düsselforf) between 1991 and 1992.
