György Kukely PhD is director of the Terra Studio Kft. and senior lecturer at the Department of Social and Economic Geography at the ELTE Faculty of Science. He is a geographer specialized in regional and urban development and he is also a qualified economist. He is a strategic planner, assessor, researcher and instructor. His fields of research include geographical economics, development policy, environmental protection as well as transport, energy and climate policy. His planning and advisory activities cover the latter fields and the areas of regional, urban and transport development. His special fields of interest include impact assessment of European Union and Hungarian funding,
development of urban transport with special regard to bicycle transport as well as brownfield and urban rehabilitation. He has dealt with the issues of sustainability for one and a half decades with special focus on infrastructure development in terms of transport and environmental protection and industrial activities.
