About Us

Bálint Tóth

Bálint Tóth (Hungary) – regional and environmental economist at iASK working on the Landsupport project to support the promotion of the Landsupport tools at local and regional level. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree of Environmental Engineering and a Master of Science degree of Regional and Environmental Economy from the Budapest University of Technology and Economy. He is an experienced ISO integrated management system internal auditor mainly in the field of quality, environment and information security. He has gained experience working on compliance with environmental legislations, such as the WEEE, Green Dot and Batteries Directives. He has coordinated the European QEHS Team of an American multinational company for 3 years. He has been recognized by the AmCham (American Chamber of Commerce) Foundation as Volunteer of the Year in 2019. He has also played an important role in the project coordination of the H2020 project, called C-Servees, that is aiming to revolutionize the EEE (Electronic and Electrical Equipment) take-back and recycling system in Europe. His special interests are ISO standards, auditing, voluntary schemes and blockchain technology. He is a black belt in Tae-kwon-do and likes bouldering in his free time.
