Ferenc Jordán

Ferenc Jordán is a systems ecologist (PhD in Biology, 1999, Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest) who works primarily on biological networks (food webs, habitat networks, and social networks). He was previously a Branco Weiss Fellow, a researcher at Microsoft Research – COSBI in Italy, a fellow at the Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin (WIKO), and head of a research group at the Institute of Biological Research in Cluj. He currently serves as an external associate of the Zoological Station in Naples and as a visiting professor at the University of Parma. He is increasingly active in science communication, and his research is taking an increasingly multidisciplinary approach.
