A brand new conference paper was released by Bázis Egyesület in 2025 with the title: Transculturalism and bilingualism 7.
In this book two of the articles was written by iASK research fellows:

• Ágnes Kovács: The experience of alienation, exile, and language change in the books of Agota Kristof
• István Sümegi: Heavenly Kőszeg. Or who can vouch for Agota Kristof’s Hungarian identity?

Excerpt from the preface:

“The geographical and linguistic scope of the studies in the volume entitled Transculturalism and Bilingualism 7, which examines Hungarian, Slovak, English, German, French, Finnish, and Balkan literature, paints a translocal map in itself: the network of studies reveals exciting points of contact. The authors come from various interdisciplinary fields and represent a wide range of disciplinary positions. They have discovered transculturalism as a method and theoretical basis through literary studies, cultural research, translation studies, and educational science. The aim of the volume is not to provide a definitive definition of transculturalism, but to show how the literatures, arts, and cultural practices under discussion become active parts of global networks without losing their local connections. The individual studies thus enter into dialogue, creating nodes with each other and thus contributing to the further development of transculturalism as an open poetic and theoretical model.”
