Timothy Yaw Acheampong is a Ghanaian PhD candidate at the Doctoral School in Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, University of Szeged in Hungary. His PhD topic is on “Aid-for-Trade and the Middle-Income Trap”. He has a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Development Studies from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. His research interests are in various areas of Development Studies including development policy analysis, socioeconomic development trends, human rights, sustainable development, and the digital economy. His career objective is train as a competent scholar and development practitioner who positively contributes to global, national, and local development efforts through teaching, research, and community service.
